spark plug wires all jacked up
hello all,
Some way some how unknown to me, my spark plugs are out of firing
order in comparison to the diagram of how they should be. When I put
them in the order they should be, the car won't even start. I guess
they were put on wrong at one point and the timing was set with it
like that. The car runs fine...some noticeable power loss though. Is
this a situation where I will have to re do the timing by twisting the
distributor and such or what? I usually have my dad help me with this
stuff but I go to school 2 hours away and kind of need some detailed
direction of how to deal with this as I'm sure this is probably
harming my car. However, I can usually do anything myself with proper
guidance and direction.
Thanks
Ricky

firing sequence is 1342. don't rotate the distributor - it's keyed so
it'll be right.

if you have a honda distributor cap, #1 is marked - it's bottom left is
you stand facing the distributor with the engine behind. rotation is
clock-wise from the same standing point.
