Replacement for CR-V radio(with NAV)?
Hi
Anyone would recommend a replacement for the original OEM radio
that's default in the 2007- CR-V ??
I'm frustrated that I cannot get displayed/choose using the steering wheel..
using a Kensington LiquidAUX does work... but I do not looking away from the
road to choose the songs that I want to hear....
Alternatively a solution that will allow me to use the standard OEM radio
and my iPhone/iPod
regards
niels

You'd have to double check the fit for a CRV, but if it's double din like my
Accord and Odyssey, for XMas I changed out my wife's radio in the Odyssey
for the Clarion CX609 (was on sale for $250) plus the adapter for hooking it
up to the built in steering wheel controls. iPod/iPhone plugs into a USB
port using the standard Apple cable and it works great. Also has Bluetooth
to mute the radio and work as a speakerphone.
I got it through Crutchfield. They include the wiring harness and in the
case of the Odyssey a mounting kit (which I would not need if I put one in
my '01 Accord).
