It's possible that the battery that you purchased has been setting on the
shelf for the past 3 to 5 years and as a result was half charged. I
suggest that you buy another battery from another dealership and see if
that solves your problem.

suggest that you buy another battery from another dealership and see if

Better off at your local electronics store or Radio Shack. Dealers probably
charge 10x what the things actually cost and is a standard battery.
