Brian,
If it would only "invonvenience you a few moments" to check that a
timing chain with all it's associated parts was installed correctly --
or some other internal component -- then you are a better and faster
mechanic than I am!
Get real.

I guess that I should have spelled it out in English for some of you that
don't seem to understand the implied. That, for those things that are easily
checked, it is far easier to do so, than it is to end up sitting on the side
of a road without a wheel, or with a seized engine. And while sitting there,
blaming everyone else for your problems.
Yes, there are things that can not be readily checked and for those items
there is warranty coverage. But, for the things that are easily checked and
you don't, why inconvenience yourself for any amount of time sitting in a
broken down vehicle on the side of the road, is more time than it would take
to do the smart thing and check your vehicle?

Actually, I have been driving commercial motor vehicles for over three
decades, and that is where I have become used to checking for any signs of a
vehicle's condition. Because, with the operation of heavy vehicles, it IS
the driver's responsibility to ensure that it is safe to be used on the road
before taking it out of the yard. To do otherwise is to make yourself liable
for any and all damage that occurs to your vehicle or other's vehicles
and/or property. That is where I am coming from with my responses, because
of years of acting responsibly makes one that much aware of the
consequences.
Oh, and by the way, John. Canada is spelled with a C, not a K as in your
mind. Show some respect, please.

Brian,
I didn't accidentally misspell Kanada...the K is there for a reason.
Do you know why or are you clueless. Clue: refer to the disgraceful
Left Coast (People's Republic of Kalifornia) here in America.
And obviously, there's no respect. I only respect the small minority
of Canadians who don't like what Canada has become.
But I'm not happy with America (which some people also spell with a
K), either, as it continues in its own downward spiral. Also here,
there is only a small minority in opposition to this negative trend.
You can have the last word, no sense going on with this.
Happy motoring,
John D.

You sir and your attitude, are prime examples why the United States are held
in such contempt around the world. You believe that everyone should know
everything about your corner of the planet, while ignoring the rest of the
world. You speak of a negative trend, you must mean the way that you think.
