Well, on mine Accord EX V6 1999 the serial number was on the bottom of
the cdradio. It was a yellow stiker with some info on it and there was
a serial number as well.
Actually I had a similar problem with entering the CODE. When I was
trying to get a S/N I did not removed cdradio completely and I read
one digit incorrectly
Next time I just removed the radio and brought it to the dealer this
time it was OK.

Good point. I looked through my 'collection' of pre-99 radios, and some
have the sticker on the top, some on the bottom. If you have a CD or
cassette hanging on the underside of your radio, you're doomed to slip
the whole radio out to see the decal anyhow . . .

Well, I looked in the fuse box and nothing. I took the whole thing apart
only to be held back by ONE sticking screw. It won't budge for nothing. I
tried hammering it to see if that'll loosen the threads, but no luck. So now
I'm almost forced to get a new radio.
