Due to newsgroup problems, my post came as a reply to myself....
but to add to it, try running the car around as per normal , and if/when the
problem reoccurs simply add another gallon or so of gas to the fuel tank and
see if the car will restart. If this is the case, it is most likely with
the fuel pump. The relay usually won't just stop working after the car has
been running. The most common sympton for a bad main relay is when the car
wont start in hot weather, or just after it has been running for a decent
amount of time.
