If I used synthetic, I would go 7500. As it is, I use regular ol' Castrol
5w30 in my '02 Accord and change it out every 3750. This is mostly for
maintenance records and resale value.
On my ol' Dodge truck, I changed the oil once/yr, regardless of mileage
(typically 18k - 20k/yr.), but I used Amsoil 0w30 in it. Amsoil is good
stuff, but I can't get past their marketing. Anywayz, the truck still ran
like new, didn't burn a drop of oil, when I sold it with 167k miles on it.
If I wasn't planning on reselling the Accord, I'd prolly run synth oil w/
extended drain intervals.
