Have you taken it back to the dealer for warranty service? Do. They
should make you happy.
I'm not impressed with my gas mileage, either (19-22 mpg), but I don't
have 3000 miles on it yet, either. I sure hope it improves! I got 21
in town and 25-28 on the road with my '98 Accord LX.

I think Brian is right about the mileage improving. When we first got
the car, we made a trip to Alabama, and I think I got about 20 miles
per gallon. We just got back from Chincoteague, and I believe we got
almost 25. The vehicle has about 15,000 miles on it now. But, I live
in the mountains of Virginia and alot of my driving is up and down,
which really kills the mpg.
