so why is it 'cool' to modify old cars and not new ones? because you dont
like it? nice explaination, personally i dislike muscle cars, too old and
too heavy to do anything other then a straight line. How many people do you
see lurking their groups saying its stupid to restore and modify a junkyard
classic? please click unsubsribe now

Because it seems like nearly everyone who modifies newer cars drive
like asses. "Oooh, look at my modified Neon, it is so cool and I can
pass everyone on the interstate". Or how about the big spoilers that
look like they just came from a sheet-metal shop. I love the
tailpipes that are 2 or 3 times larger than the engine pistons are,
and make that nice Rice-boy sound. Yeah, that's really cool.

I don't like them either and would never buy or restore one.

Start with a Cold air intake,
do not put a cat back coffee can, you'll gain nothing, The minimal that you
gain with that ,you lose in the extra weight.

Then don't worry about power, worry about traction.

Then don't take it there. In it's place, take a Shelby AC Cobra...
