PLEASE HELP! - Air/Fuel Mixture Adjustment - 1987 Honda Accord LX
I just installed a new carburetor kit on my 1987 Honda Accord LX. Now part
of the procedure is to adjust the air/fuel mixture with a propane enrichment
kit. I went to AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts (for those of you outside
the US, they're just auto parts store chains) but they don't even know what
I was talking about... showed them the manual and they told me that they had
not even heard about such a thing as a "propane enrichment kit".
....which is just a propate bottle with a valve and a hose... It's Sunday
and my local Honda dealer parts dept is closed... and I really, really,
really would like to finish this job today. I'm wondering if I can do with
a little propane bottle (from Sears) and connect a valve and hose to it and
be very careful when discharging propane into the air intake.
Recommendations?
