Actually, they are not. Not the same footprint, but are very similar.
Pilot is wider, MDX is longer. Same drivetrain, but the MDX gets more
horsepower out of the same engine.

The earlier "Passport" was made by Isuzu for Honda. Pilot and MDX
are Hondas. Check your C.Reports repair ratings etc. and the IIHS crash
