main relay

main relay
Hello,
There are two components that look like the main relay.
first one is behind the silver cruise control which
seems a bit larger than what's pictured on the web
page it's brown. The second one is located on a board
with othercomponents it says MITSUBA/12.v8 3305 on it.
looks like it's plugged in directly to the board.
Which one is it?
Also, the slow grinding probably is because the ignition
timeing was advanced. I don't think it'll kick in if that
wasen't the case.
