Re: Looking for final drive gears from a honda front wheel drive transmission
all honda transaxles have a 4 digit alpha-numeric code on a white sticker
ie: PX4B . on them provided the trans has not been overhauled before and the
sticker is still readable. this sticker should be readable from the top of
the vehicle. some particular models of honda transaxles have a habit of
breaking a tooth on the pinion gear which in turn trashes the differential.
model specific for all types of transaxles. it also depends on where you are
located as to availability of good used hard parts might be able to help you
if you can get the model of trans tooth count included if possible. i live
in south florida and have 2-3 good hard parts suppliers but need correct
info and with email response may be able to get a diagram of trans faxed to
you to identify exact parts needed.
