Installed third party audio... now my engine light is on.?
Any help would be appreciated.
I removed my stock audio system in my Honda civic 1999 with a third party
unit.
During the install I had to remove the front panel. As well, I disconnected
the battery (during the install).
Now, everthing is working but the engine indicator light is on. Any
suggestions what I could have done, or how to fix it...
Thanks
S.

Check all your fuses. Might be coincidence as well. Bring it to AutoZone,
they can do a free diagnosis when your check engine light is on. The oxygen
sensor might be broken..

Can't really understand why.. but after 2 days, the check engine light went
off.
(didn't even reset it since I couldn't even pull out the 7.5 amp
fuse -backup radio- suggested by other postings)
BTW: how does one pull out those fuses anyways. No too or finger can fit in
that space.
Anyways, thanks for the suggestion.

There is a fuse puller in one of the slots of the fuse panel. See:
Owners manual. bob
