How to remove brake shoes -- 2000 Civic
I replaced the front pads tonight and started to look at the rear shoes.
What's the easiest way to remove them? I was reading the online manual for
a 1995-1997 Civic but the pics for the '97 are a little different than the
2000. Also how hard is it to replace the components for the rear wheel
cylinder? Seems simple enough.

The rear wheel cylinders are fairly straight forward to replace. However,
if they're not leaking or show signs of corrosion when you look under the
boots, then you can reuse them (be careful not to get brake dust under the
boots). If you do replace them, just make sure that you use a flare nut
wrench on the brake line fitting.

I did a brake job on a '92 Accord last year, I had no problem taking
everything apart, it was assembling the shoes on to the mounting that
was the problem. I tried to do it like I have done on GM and Fords.
For the Honda, I had to assemble the parts on a bench vice and then
move the assembled parts to the car.

I haven't run into this problem yet with those files. Which file was it
that required the password?
