Honda Civic will not start
Please Help,
I just got my Honda back after it was stolen and the distributor was
missing.
Therefore after purchasing and installing the new distributor and even
changing the starter, the car still would not start....
I can hear the starter and the engine will turn over a little but will not
crank. Any ideas ???

Pull the plugs and see if the engine turns by hand. May be junk now.

Thanks for the reply
Yes the engine does turn... I had to turn piston 1 to TDC to install the
distributor. However I did not pull the plugs on piston 2,3,4 to perform
this....
When I install the distributor with piston 1 at TDC, how do I know if it is
on TDC on the compression stroke and note the exhaust stroke ?

there are markings on the cam gear to indicate what position it is in,
you will have to check the manual to see what it is for your car.
