Honda Accord 2003 LX with EX CD player?
I recently bought a 2003 Honda Accord LX which comes with the standard
single disc CD player in the dash. I recently noticed that I could
purchase the 6-Disc in Dash CD changer radio (found in the EX model)
and I was wondering if it would be possible to just switch the radios
out in my accord with the factory harnesses. Seems like you could, but
just wondering if anyone else has had any experience. If the harness
couldn't be just unpluged and pluged in to the new radio, is there a
way to figure out which wire on the harness is for which feature of
the radio and splice the wires together? Thanks for any tips.

In previous years, that's been exactly the case.
You'll be buying this from your Honda dealer, anyway; ask him. If he
doesn't know, he'll know whom to ask.

FYI... This can be done--the trick is you must get the standard 6-Disc
Changer found only in the standard Ex models with MANUAL air control.
The harness will then plug right in to both the radio and display.

Samuel, I am looking to buy the Accord LX. My friend bought one at the
beginning of the year for $17,000. Do you think by offering $16,000 is
reasonable for end of year clearance?

[Hello, I was wondering about the same. But I noticed that the plugs
will fit any radio with or without the Auto Air control. Where did you
got that information? I will like to know, becuase I was told the LX
will handle any EX radio without the Nav system.

Re: Honda Accord 2003 LX with EX CD player?
Can't speak to the plugs, but the display would be different. I have
the EX-L (4 cyl) which has the auto climate and the temperature
settings and other information about the auto climate show on the same
radio display. Perhaps behind that display screen there is actually
the radio and the auto climate units showing their respective data. I
don't know what this looks like on a manual.
