Headlights popping ip and down - 88 Prelude
Hi
The battery in my 88 Prelude went flat overnight because I left the
interior light on. I put the battery on charge for two hours, but when
I started up the engine, the headlights are popping up and down, I
hear a clicking noise, and the red hood warning light is on in the
dash. Yes, the hood is closed properly and I haven't left any wires
dangling around under the hood.
Any sugestions?
Thank you
Fred

Fred,
Try disconnecting the negative terminal for ten seconds, then reconnect
without making a bunch of sparks. It just needs a 'cold reboot' to
unscramble some stuff.

Thank you! You've solved the mystery... Funniliy enough, when checking
the fuses, I dropped one down behind the battery and had to remove the
battery to retrieve the fuse. After reconnecting the problem was gone.
Now I know why!
Thanks again.
