Extended Warranty Accord 2002 transmission
The automatic transmission on my 2002 4 cyl Accord just went Tango
Uniform at 46.5k miles. With a quick Google. search, I could find no
evidence the exended warranty had been 'extended' to the 2002 models.
Has anyone heard if there is any type of hidden warranty for this
model?

Go to Honda Owner Link and give them your VIN number.
This is Honda's Owner Web Page.

Last time I looked, the Tranny on my '01 Accord had an extended
Warrantee to 7 years or 70,000 miles

Geico's Mechanical Breakdown Insurance is going to cover me for this.
They will ship a re-manufactured transmission to your mechanic of choice
and you simply pay a $250 deductible. For the relatively low expense of
GEICO MBI, I think this is a good deal.
