E.C.U Flash codes Rover 216 (1993) Honda engine
Can anyone supply ecu flash codes for a rover 216 with the honda pgm
fi unit. My engine check light comes on after about 15 minutes
travelling, The car still functions ok but the idle is a bit rough.I
also want to reset this ecu as i think it is showing more than one
code. I have pulled the fuse for this (by the drivers right knee)for
about 30 minutes but it did not clear it
Thanks

According to my Haynes manual you reset the ECU by removing the 10Amp
fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. It mentions an ECU fuse in
the driver compartment in a list a the back of the book, but the
written section on resetting mentions the 10amp hazard warning one in
the engine compart.

Yes I pulled the hazzard fuse and this reset the ecu (there were no
flashes at all) upon restarting the car it would not idle, I had to
increase the tick over speed

Re: E.C.U Flash codes Rover 216 (1993) Honda engine
code 1 is the oxygen sensor (lambda sensor) its in the exhaust manifold.
Either its failed, which they do eventually they are a consumable item, or
its unplugged. If neither then the wiring is damaged somewhere.
