Avoid Keeler Honda in Latham, NY
Their service department is the worst. If you have *any* problems with
your vehicle as delivered, they will claim they are normal. I had a leak
at an O-ring seal they claimed was normal/due to my overfilling the
container. Sure...Honda designed it to leak.
Oh yeah, those spongy brakes? Completely normal.
The only thing they did correctly was clean the vehicle in and out prior to
delivery. Notice I didn't say "prep the vehicle correctly". 60lbs in each
tire isn't normal.
I have had good service experience with Lia Honda down the road in Albany,
NY. They didn't have the vehicle I wanted and Keeler did...next time I'll
wait for Lia to get it.
With every dealer I have dealt with, the front-line service guys always
give you some bs about your problem. However, you go to the service
manager at Lia (Dave Ericson) and you never have another problem. Keeler
was not like this...their service manager (some bald who never
offered his name) was more interested in quelling my discontent.
If you buy from Keeler, you have been warned...there are at least 3 other
Honda dealers in the area (Mohawk, Saratoga, and Renssalaer) which I have
no experience with...I would like to hear comments on those.

I did a search at www.bbb.org and looks like Keeler Honda has
a slew of customer complaints against them. Reminds me of
Speedcraft Volkswagon in Wakefield RI. Speedcraft ripped off
people for years.

I see Lia has some complaints as well. Mohawk Honda had none.
