Accord vibrations
I am having high speed vibration problems when I apply the breaks at about
50 mph and above, the front end shimmies like crazy. Once I release the
brake pedal, it goes away. Is this an idication of an alignment problem or a
break problem? Thanks for the help.

My 94 Civic does this *sometimes*. Usually no issues, but eeeeevery so
often it gallops all over the lane when I brake. I replaced both of my
front rotors with brand new ones in late 2001, so I don't think it's
rotor warp, unless there is such a thing as transient rotor warp. Any
input, all?

Re: Accord vibrations
There was a post within the last few days with a link to a very
interesting article on rotor warp -- basically explaining that rotor
warp is generally not the cause of these pulsation problems. In fact,
he argues that rotor warp is fairly rare.
I'll look for the link in past messages. It was a thread about brakes
(though I think it was spelled breaks!).
