Accord 2003 EXL, What setting to use to get cold outside air?
Accord 2003 EX with climate control
If the AC auto switch is OFF and if I set the temperature to the minimum, I
feel the cold air(colder than outside temp??) blow for the air outlets,
Question is, at this setup is the AC on or off?
I just need to set the ac off and want to get the maximum(= outside temp)
cold air from out side(do not want to open the windows)
Please clarify me
Thanks

I have an 04 EX so it must be virtually the same. If the AUTO is off,
and it doesn't say "A/C ON' on the big display, then it's OFF.
Actually if you press the A/C button a couple times it will say "A/C
OFF".
Just because it doesn't say anything about A/C on the display doesn't
mean it's on.

If the AC auto switch is off--the AC is off.
Try feeling the air blow from the air outlets only AFTER the AC has been
turned off for at least 5 minutes. It takes several minutes after you turn
off the AC switch for the remaining cold air still in the system to come
out of the vents.

Thanks guys!
I was just trying to reconfirm what I was thinking. Since heating kicks in
irrespective of the Auto switch is OFF, that made me think may be even the
AC gets switched if I set the temperature **** to minimum.
Thanks again
