Accord 1990 Auto Shifter problem.

Accord 1990 Auto Shifter problem.
Suddenly the shifter is very hard to move on a Accord EX Automatic.
The lever feels very tight but once in place the car runs fine.
Please advise.

Time to replace the shifter cable. bob
