97 Civic power windows.
97 Civic, right front window, suddenly starts jumping out of the forward
track on the down movement. It's a bit of work to get it back in.....
no obvious damage to regulator. Lubed the track and linkages, so it's
a bit smoother, but pops out when it's about half way down.
Any rationale to this? thx

the glass is popping out of the thing that holds it in place at the bottom
i believe. take it to a glass shop and they have a very strong glue that
they rub on it and it won't give u anymore trouble.

It needs a new regulator. It's a common problem. check the run
channel while you're in there.

Re: 97 Civic power windows.
actually i was thinking of the run channel i think that is probably loose in
your door. not what the glass is held on by. i had the same problem with a
honda accord. the glass shop rubbed some real strong glue onto the run
channel and that took care of it.
