Famous? The only problem I know of on the 90-93 accord tranny were the nuts
falling off the shafts.... and most of those should have been fixed by
recall. I've only seen one or two "fail" (without curb hopping or
something like that) and one had well over 300,000 MILES. Now the computer
goes bad on those care sometimes, but that's hardly a problem with the
tranny. If you catch it soon enough, it rarely causes permanent problems...
pretty easy to catch, since most of them start off in 3rd or 4th when they
go bad.

I'd say $3500-$4000 US. I shopped heavily while looking for my '91
accord and a nice low mileage example like that sells for a premium.
The rsale value on these is amazing.
