91 Accord dash issues
My roommate has a 91 accord, and his girlfriend bought him a cd player for
it for his brithday. so one of my other roommates was gonna put it in for
him today, well, we cant get the dash off. we have no clue, and have never
had such problems from a dash before, the screws are out, well, the ones we
think are relevant. any ideas? or suggestions? thanks.

Re: 91 Accord dash issues
You don't really need to take the dash off. If the original radio is a
cd/radio combo it gets a little tricky. You'll have to take out the center
console (piece of plastic where shifter and handbrake is) so you can take
out the ashtray. With the ashtray out, you have easy access to a set of
screws that holds the radio in place. If the original radio is a regular
radio (dim 1), then it's a matter of pushing in little pins that are on the
sides of the radio itself. I know at Autozone they sell the little tool
needed for it.
Do a search on google for pictures and walkthroughs, they're VERY helpful!!
