Does the Civic Hybrid have a timing belt? Or is it Chain?

I think I read somewhere it is a chain, you can check at www.greenhybrid.com
and I will bet someone knows the answer...I suspect your local Honda service
dept would know as well.

www.bkhondaparts.com shows it to be a chain.

Every Civic Hybrid since the introduction in 2003 has had the same engine
block and it has a chain.

unlike the gas models these do come with a timing chain
