2005 Honda Odyssey
For those of you interested, the Money Magazine, September issue, page
145 has a very complimentary article on the '05 Odyssey.
Some pictures, good description on features as well as some comments
on the VCM (variable cylinder management system which shuts down three
of the 6 cylinders when the car is coasting. (I suspect it WILL NOT be
the failure of the Cadillac trials of a few years ago.
This is the first article of any depth that I've seen on the '05
Odyssey as Honda has done a remarkable job of holding back early info.
The car will release on or around 9/21, our dealer says.

Re: 2005 Honda Odyssey
A Honda sales consultant that sold me two Accords (03 EX without sunroof,
04 EX-L with sunroof) informed me that the Honda Lagreat in Japan --
identical to the current Odyssey in NA -- sells for an equivalent of
$90,000 in U.S. currency.

Re: 2005 Honda Odyssey
Good thing I'm not interested in vans, because this Odyssey does not
look nearly as good as the older one when it came out. Today the 99-04
Odyssey looks aged, but it really impressed me when I saw it 99. The new
one on the other hand looks too much like a Sienna or a Freestar...
