2004 Accord Coupe: Help removing interior ceiling panels please
Can someone tell me how to remove the interior panel that runs from the
ceiling BETWEEN the front door and the back seat(between the driver's window
and the rear passenger's window)? Also the between the rear passenger's
window and the rear window? I think some cable became loose in there. I
know I can take it to the dealer but I just assume do it myself if it is not
too much of deal. That way I don't have to empty all my stuff and lose the
car for the day not to mention having to clean it when I get it back.
Thanks.

You have a rattle in there too? Under the seatbelt loop by your
shoulder, correct? I also have a vinyl-on-glass sounding squeak
between the bottom of my windshield and dashboard, drivers side. I
just hate the thought of the dealer pulling things apart and f**king
things up like most do. So I've been putting up with it. It's not
too bad.

I have the same, EXACT, squeak. Also, many others have reported it as well.

When did you buy your 2004? Sounds exactly like sounds coming from my 2004
Accord coupe 6MT I bought in Dec.
Took it to the dealer once and they said they couln't find anything. Honda
service visits are a waste of time to get rattles and squeeks resolved. I
don't my next car will be a Honda.

Re: 2004 Accord Coupe: Help removing interior ceiling panels please
I bought it mid January; mine is a 6MT also. I mentioned the squeak
and rattle I had to the dealer, and asked them if they had any sort of
service bulletins on it since I know others are having the same
problem. They didn't know of any such thing (or acted like they
didn't).
I really think that a minor rattle here and there isn't a big deal.
On mine it's nowhere near the point of driving me crazy, and I don't
even notice it most of the time. I just *know* that if they start
pulling things apart I'll regret ever having them get their hands on
it. Sad isn't it?
