2002 Accord upgrade
I just bought a 2002 Accord EX V6 coupe, very nice, very clean. Only
20K on the clock.
I love this car, but it feels, well...kinda "mushy".
Having come from a series of BMW's, I want this car to have more of a
"on rails" feel to it.
Does anyone have suggestions for suspension improvements? Web sites or
aftermarket tuners?
Thanks for any input.
Jeff

You might want to repost and tell us what you mean by the word "mushy". If
you are referring to the fact that shocks and struts are different on a
Honda versus a BMW--you are right. It's my guess that you should be able
to get new shocks or struts for your Honda at a store or business that
sells lots of different types of shocks and stuts. Tell the manager what
you want--and they should be able to sell you what you need. It's possible
that you will never be satisfied since other factors besides shocks and
struts effect "ride".

Re: 2002 Accord upgrade
if you are coming out of a BMW which first of all out weighs the Honda, you
are dreaming. The "on rails" feeling you decribe is designed into BMW cars
and paid for by you. You pay less for the Honda (a great car for what it
is) and you get less. I love Hondas and BMWs. I own both. But the Honda
will not live in the performance range of a Bimmer.
