1999 Accord V6 - click when starting to accelerate
Hi everyone
Hoping someone might shed some light at this:
I have a (canadian) 1999 Accord EX V6, whenever i stop at the light (and
hold the car in D4 with the brakes), and then start going after, I hear a
click right after I press the gas pedal. It's not a very loud clunk, but
definitely clearly audible every time. It doesn't click if I just let go of
the brake and roll slowly, only after i press on gas.
Aside from the click, the car behaves perfectly normally (or at least so I
think, see next post).
Just wondering if this is normal, and if not, what it could be a sign of.
Thanks.

Hello,
The next time that you visit the Honda dealership, ask them to check to
detemine if there are any Technical Service Bulletins related to this
issue. It might be
TSB Number 00-059 Engine--Thump Noise at Cold Start
00-059 Rear Engine Mount--Thump on Cold start
99-093 Wheels--clicking noise

Re: 1999 Accord V6 - click when starting to accelerate
My warranty is expired, and i don't service my car at the dealership due to
the high cost of doing so. Usually when you ask them to check something, you
get billed at $65/hr even if no work is done. (you know, just like the $80
OBD scans)
Would these TSBs be listed if i asked them to run my VIN through the system
(i think that i can get for free), or are these decided on a case-by-case
basis?
Also, is there any way to see the text of the TSBs?
Thanks again.
