Regarding my 1995 Honda Civic DX (200,000 KM):

Ok, so it burns a little oil...this much i know...

Here are the mechanics numbers from the compression test:
Cylinder 1: 180psi
Cylinder 2: 175psi
Cylinder 3: 185psi
Cylinder 4: 180psi

Mechanic: "your engine compression isn't too bad, rings are going though"
Me: "uh...yeah, alrighty then."

Does anyone know where you can find the factory specs for compression?
For comparison sakes what would the compression have been the day it
rolled off the line?

After a major tune-up it runs well, still some soot on the back bumper
just wondering based on the above numbers how much life is left in this
engine.

He should have done a 'dry' compression test, then a 'wet' compression
test. that would have clearly shown how much of the trouble is coming
from the rings.

anyway, have you changed your PCV lately? How's your oil mileage, and
your fuel mileage?
