1994 Civic DX....
I have been driving mostly highway miles my last tank of gas,
and my A/C has been noticeably cycling a quick off-then-on cycle every
20 seconds or so when driving. When in 2nd gear at 25mph, this is VERY
noticeable as the car jerks quite a bit. The local Honda-only place
says it's just fine, but I have just gotten the worst tank of gas I've
ever had in 60,000 miles of owning the car. 29.5mpg. My previous worst
was sitting in Norfolk, VA traffic for long periods of time, and that
was 32.5mpg. What might be the problem??? O2 sensor? Evaporator temp
sensor?? I can say that both my radiator and condensor are VERY nasty
with bugs and tiny pebbles, but I couldn't find a radiator comb that
fits the corrugation in the radiator. (It did help with my house A/C
though...). Any help would be appreciated!!

Have an auto A/C tech look at it. The system may be low on freon and the
cycling on/off so quickly is a sure fire way to kill the compressor...
