Re: 06 and newer civic tires
I am on my third, dealer told me I am the only one with this problem, But
two other people getting a ride in the shuttle van had the same problem.
Their tires are cupping and the inside edge is becoming deformed.

My '06 Si is fine, but I am pretty sure there is a different
suspension on it...

Re: 06 and newer civic tires
Their plan is to change control arms and tires under warranty for the first
40,000km. After that just control arms untill 60,000 or 3yrs. Then tuff luck
for you. sort of what they did a few years ago with their map sensor
problem, put it off untill your car is off warranty and then bring out a
better sensor for you to pay for. No more Hondas for me.

What manufacturer are you going to buy from next or like better?

Your criticism should be directed at your dealer, not Honda itself. All
manufacturers have good and bad dealers, and it happens that this dealer has
been a bad one.

Re: 06 and newer civic tires
I can understand his frustration. I have a 2006 Odyssey with just 17k miles
on it. Just had to replace 4 run flat PAX Michelin tires at a tune of
$1200. Happening to people with Touring models which came with the run flat
tires standard. Honda fix? 2007 Touring did not come with PAX tires.

If the control arms have not helped resolve the issue and your dealer
is giving you pushback, I would suggest you call Honda directly on
this. I wouldn't touch this generation Civic with this known problem.
