whats best for honda civic 1.8 unleaded or super unleaded?
#4
Many people have asked this question (for various other cars) and I would give the same answer to all of them.
Unleaded.
You will never, ever, ever see a noticeable difference in performance by buying the expensive stuff. Cars with very powerful, high tech engines might benefit - for example I remember reading that the Vauxhall Monaro shows a improvement in power when run on super unleaded. But that's a powerful car with a HUGE engine!
Save your money. Buy the cheap stuff. I know how you feel, you love you car and you also want to get the most power out of it. Do this buy servicing it and having clean air filters, spark plugs, fuel filters and engine oil. Don't waste more money than you have to on fuel.
