Swapping Headers on a '93 Civic?

I've asked 2 other questions now, but I'm trying to arrive at a final decision. The guy I know not only has a cold air intake (which I've decided against, for now, on my stock engine) but he has a 4-into-2-into-1 header that he says would bolt right onto my '93. He says it wouldn't need any added work or parts, that the engine could handle it alright and it would add 10-15 horses. Given this info, and knowing that I could get it for cheap, would you say yes or no? If you need any more info let me know and I'll update. He's a very trustworthy guy and friend and says he'd also put it in for me.

if u want performance it would help a lot especially in civic's little headers, its legal in california as long as it has a CAR number dont know about other states, but a header adding 10-15hp? never heard of it, only about 5, u could gain 10 if u mod others things along with it
