...used Honda Civic? HELP!? I really want a Civic or any type of cool import car, however I don't know if it would be a good idea to trade in my Cavalier toward a purchase of a Civic that may be older than the Cavy and higher in mileage. I still owe 4,000 dollars on my Cavy, so I am confused as to what I should do.People tell me that it would be worth it, even if the Civic is older because it is just such a more reliable car overall. If i do trade it in i want the civic to be somewhere around $8,000 or lower. Please give me your advice!!!

Yes you should change it. First you'll be saving a lot in fuel. Second you'll be spending less in repairs and maintenance due to a higher reliability. Make sure the one you get has not been in a crash; this can change all said above. Even a slightly higher milleage civic should perform better than your cavy. Also interior space is bigger. Drawback is hondas are a "hotter" to car thieves so better keep it with a lo-jack or something.
