New model Honda Civic have plenty of space?
I was looking around at the new models of honda civic '06+ and I was wondering, any (6'0 250 lbs)ers sit in one of these. I deliver pizzas so I want something like the civics fuel econ. but also I would like to be able to breath, and streatch out in the civic. If you own/sat in the driver seats, please give the trim, i.e. LX EX SI etc.If the civic seemed cramped, what models of cars would you reccomend, I was also looking at the 4 cyl accord, any suggestions

Talk about coincidence, my friend's 5'11 and shes got an 07 Civic EX. Fuel econ is awesome at 27 mpg, but I noticed she doesnt have much headroom under the roof. I get about 5-6 in of space left over my head, so since you're a 6 footer I assume you'll brush your hair to the ceiling a lot in a civic. I'm talking about the EX and it comes w/ a sunroof, so I cant tell you if there'll be a significant difference w/ the non-sunroof LX model. Seats however will pinch anyone over average size (typical for civics).Alternative: taller guys here prefer a mazda3, mainly because of its cool looks for lower sticker and the extra 2 ins of headroom. Fuel econ in the same range (they said they usually get about 25 mpg in town). Also you might wanna take a look at the 3's wagon trim, it's more popular than the sedan on my campus and it has all the room you need. 4-cyl accord is a nice car w/ lots of room (feels even roomier thanks to the low dash). Fuel econ: 23-25 mpg in town. Downsides are few, the road noise gets more audible after a while, and resale value is strong, so expect to spend about 2-3k more than other brands (except toyota).Alternative: Nissan Altima. As I've mentioned before its roomy and much cheaper. fuel econ doesnt suffer if you stick w/ the 4-cyl, expect 22-23 mpg. downsides: firm ride, not so comfy backseat, and stubborn torque steer at speed.Ford fusion or Chevy malibu is the most sensible option for domestic brand. The 2 big minus are crappy reliability and resale value. If you plan to drive a lot (I assume you will to deliver pizza) and/or sell it after a few years I wont recommend them.Korean cars like hyundai sonata and kia optima will give you space and price, but will dissapoint on everything else. For someone at your figure, I think a midsize car like accord and altima will suit you best. Goodluck
