...problems. The dealer no help.? My car is still under warranty. I was driving in the parking lot the other day and my car died on me, I couldnt start it back up for 3 minutes. I checked my antifreeze and it was running low. Also, my driver side visor is broken, and moulding they repaired before is peeling off. I took my car to them in the past and they were a struggle to work with. I want t hem to check everything out in my car (engine/tranny) mainly because if my car is a lemon, I better find out before the warranty expires. How do I talk to them to get them to know what I want, I am very upset as it is.

Definitely take it back in, I would try another dealership. You should be able to use any Honda place. Remember every time you get an oil change to have all your fluids refilled.

if they are no doing what is in your warranty, then contact the BBB, then the BBB will contact them, then they will contact you to correct your problem so the BBB will take the report off. no business wants a complaint with the BBB, it is bad for their business.

We have a newer Civic and piece by piece it is falling apart. It really is a piece of crap. We had a 96 Civic and it was an incredible car. It was fast and rugged. We traded for a new one and got screwed. We should have kept the older car.Good luck with your piece of crap.Signed, Frustrated Honda Civic Owner

i have been selling cars for 37 yrs, you donot have to fight the service dept.. all you have to do is call a toll free # like 1-800 to american honda. lodge a complaint with them save all service records, demand repair slips and car history from the dealer. you want to talk to the service rep from honda. but becareful if you do all the work your self and donot keep exact records of service like oil recepts filters milage when you done it you could be in for rude awaking. they donot have to help you at all. i had a customer buy a new mazda b3000 truck from me, one day i see it on a tow truck, cust came in madd as hell told me that the engine blew up, with only 60,000 miles on it. and he was looking at a 3,500.00 bill for a remanf engine from mazda. he filed a law suit against the manuf, dealer that he shouldnt pay nothing, one problem with the whole thing was he never, never changed the oil since day one and never had the truck serviced anywere, you gussed it he was hung with the bill, factory orig oil filter was sized to the engine

You tried calling there 800 # you did better you went right to them, I have been in the business for a few years and I have seen a lot of real good Civics, along with other Hondas, but recently I noticed a lot of there newer cars have stupid little problems, like they are in a rush to make them and get paid for them. Myself I would not buy a new one now, because of the way they are being built, but you did, and now you are having the same problems one of my regular pain customers is going through.. I picked up his car new from the lot, trailered it to my shop, painted it 8000.00 thats what he wanted. now he has the side molding falling off, and the engine has a tick in it. He took it back, they said - no way you didn't but that here, remember this has a 8000.00 custom paint job 12 different colors. In patterns all over the car body. They said you cant work on your own car and expect them to fix it. Well as long as you can show proof that you bought the oil etc.... they are liable for the car under warrantee. No matter what any salesman says - you should never believe the scum of the earth (salesman) just take it back and demand it fixed, dont leave the sales room, stay in the Salesroom, create a comotion, they really dont like the sales floor to be upset by a bad deal.
