Honda has ok mileage but corolla has better and corolla lasts a lot longer but it depends on wat u want the car for if u want to do some sport tuning or mods to it or just race it once in a while i would go for the civic since its a more sporty car. Corolla would mostly fit a person who is lookin for a not to pricy car with good quality and running it stock it all depends what u plan to do with it.

I really don't like the Corolla. To me, the Corolla is one of the blandest, most boring cars on the market. Besides, you can get a new Kia Spectra or Hyundai Elantra for less than $14k that'll come with a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. Try getting that from Honda or Toyota. If you're really concerned about getting the absolute best gas mileage, the Corolla's the way to go.
