I have a 91 Honda CRX. How can I make this car more powerfull and

stronger(performance wise) pls help!? my budget is 4,000 for now

what do u suggest i do to it, i dont want to make it for like street racing but just to have it fast and mor powerfull than it is currently, like to make it have good acceleration, speed, ect...
