how much does repairing an 1995 honda del sol timing belt cost?

The belt is cheap like $30 or so its the labor that cost so much. If you are changing the timing belt you should look into having the water pump changed a well. You have to take apart the same stuff to get to both of them and the water pump usually starts to leak. If you have a dealer do the whole thing it will run you about $600 and should include the timing belt, the water pump as well as all of the other belts and seals. You don't want to put this service off too long if it breaks there is a really good chance that you will need a new engine.
Good Luck
One way to get it done cheaper is to look in the phone book for a shop that specallizes in Hondas that isn't a dealer.. Also do yourself a favor don't hire someone that has never done one on a Honda it is a bit tricky and time consuming as well as you have to be able to reset the timing and the only good way to do that is with a timing light. I know it is a lot of money but it is well worth it.
