How much do you think my monthly payments will be on a brand new 2008 civic

What is the total cost of the vechicle? Once your find that out, go to this calculator and plug in your numbers.http://www.bankrate.com/brm/auto-loa...ulator.aspYour interest rate would probably be about 7 percent and I would put in no more than 60 months. You don't want to be paying on that car forever. Good luck.

I don't know where you live, so some of the below are variable. Where you live will determine your tax rate, license and registration, transfer or application of plates, doc fee, etc. Therefore, some of the factors listed below are ballpark. Since you can still get a 2007 Si, you will be paying sticker right now for a 2008. This is roughly $22,000 although I have not seen the MSRP on the 2008. Say you pay 7.5% taxes and add another $500 for the other fees listed above (again, this will depend on your state). This will put you out the door at about $24,000. Minus $5,000 for the Down payment, and you're financing $19,000.If you are using a trade-in to supply the $5,000 down payment, then some states do not charge sales tax on that amount (because the sales tax was already paid on that vehicle). If you are putting $5,000 cash down, you will still be taxed on the full price of the car. 737 is a decent score, so you should be able to find a credit union that will finance you at about a 6% rate for 60 months or 7% for 72 months (get approved BEFORE you go to the dealership). Based on these assumptions, your payment would be about $367 for 60 months or $324 for 72 months.Good luck to you. It is a fine car, but you may be able to save a few hundred on a 2007 model. The calculator below should help you with all of the variables.
