It is the warning light shaped like an engine block. It has come on in the past but has always gone out quite quickly. I understand it is something to do with the engine management. I can't get to the garage until after Easter. Will it be OK to drive in the meanwhile. I have about 400 miles to drive. Thank you

It could be something major or minor. It's a risk you have to take. It could be as simple as a loose hose or missing bolt, or something much more major. It's a very broad warning, but when you take it to a mechanic, they can plug in a computer and it will tell them exactly what it is. It's up to, chances are it's minor, but you ARE taking a risk.

a friend of mine has been driving his for years with the same light on, should be ok for a short period, my advice is get it looked at though asap

good chance the light comes on because you have a bad oxygen sensor nothing to worry for a bit. your ok to drive after easter... have it replaced when you return.
