Help with TIRE SIZE for a Honda?
Every time I go to any tire site and type in the make/model/year, it always says my standard tire size is 185/70-14. The tires I have on now are 190/60-15 (bought the car with them and never changed yet).
What are the differences between 14's and 15's? Also, is one size a better price than the other? Should I stick with the same size tires I bought with the car or switch to the 15's...or does this really not make a difference?
Thanks for all and any advise.
Sorry, meant my current tire size is 195/60-15.
*Thank you so far Magley 64.

Yes 14" as a "generality" is cheaper than a a 15". The same for a 16-17, and so on.
The 14" will take off the line quicker as there is less tire rotating, but the 15" will handle better. I can use a bunch of technical jargon, but that's the gist of it.
If you go to www.tirerack.com they will have a chart of the actual diameter within a fraction and this can help on sizing it right.
The truth of the matter these cars were designed and tested with a specific geometry and if you put in something different, smaller or bigger, it affects it.
On my website there is a video segment on tires that will give you some visuals.
Hope this helps.
