What does it cost to replace and can it do irreperable damage if it were to break?

Belt . You can check your local dealer to see if they got any specials. Since your doing it might as well replace the water pump. Check to see if you have a local Honda Independent dealer close buy they usually are experts on Honda's and can save you lots of money compared to dealer with out any specials.
