1993 Honda Civic for $2800. Is it Fair price ? Please Help!
I just got a new job fresh from college and got this deal for a 1993 Honda Civic for $2800 with 121K miles. Single owner who claims to have changed timing belt and waterpump at 80K and 90K. Please advise , should I take it ? Can I expect to have NO repairs for a while. I will commute 30miles daily. Thanks !!

Generally Honda Civic is one of the most reliable cars. Since I am also trying to buy cars, I am learning some things.
Things to be considered in your case are though the car is old 1993 it has decent miles. So that's a positive point.
But I would advice first get a mechanic inspection before buying it, so that you can be confident on it for a while.

That's a really good deal. Just let a trusted mechanic check it before you purchase the car. I use to have a 92 civic with 224,xxx miles and it still was running strong before I decided to put in a more bigger powerful motor. The civic should last you a very long time as long as you keep up with the maintenance of the car. They're cheap, reliable, and great commuter cars. Easy to find parts and plenty of motors are readily available to swap in. So yes buy it.
