'01 Honda Civic Radio Reset Code?
So...I'm not the smartest person you'll ever meet and I was really excited to get my first car. I went to a used dealership nearby and bought myself an '01 Honda Civic EX used obviously and It didn't come with an owners manuel and I didn't even think to ask for one. Well the other day I was changing my oil and I noticed my maintnence required light was on so I reset my computer and that went off but now my radio doesn't work. It says "Code". I don't have the manuel for the 5 digit code for my radio to work. I called the used dealership and asked him what to do but he had no idea. Any idea??

sometimes the code is located on a sticker on the back of the radio if it is original. The sticker is supposed to be removed before it is installed at the factory, but it rarely is. If that is the case you will have to go to a Honda dealership with the VIN number, and they will probably want to charge you to reset it. If you can convince them they may give you the code, but they usually won't give it to you unless you pay them to reset it.

More Than Likely U Will Have To Go A Honda Dealership And Have It Recoded,it Will Cost U To Have This Done I Would Say At Least $50 Or Better, maybe A New Radio Would Be A Good Suggestion, then That Would Solve Ur Problem All Together.
