perfomance cam gears? Will it ruin my valve springs or motor?

No, the only real diffrence is that you will have the option to adjust your cam timing, and they maybe lighter.Just an option. It can be set to the original specificaions as well.

no it won't ruin anything it will just allow to adjust your timing for instance if you retart the timing 2 degrees you will lose a couple hp in the bottom end but gain it in the top end(by 4000 rpm's and up) this can also be done with a chip on the ecu and you can adjust alot more so in my opinion i would get a chip or an aftermarket ecu plus it leaves plenty of room to grow to a turbo or other options
